Writing is a lonely occupation. Sending your completed book out into the world is a bit like seeing your child off to school for the first time. You’ve done your best, and now all you can do is sit at home and hope the world likes it as much as you do.

Authors yearn for feedback from readers in the same way that parents need to hear what teacher has to say at Open Evening; we hope it’s going to be good, but if its not, we need to know anyway!
